This route-experience extends to three towns integrated within "El Vall de Pop”. Along its route through Xaló, Alcalalí and Parcent, it passes through numerous vineyards, which offer different colours depending on the time of year. It is a route without slopes that allows you to do it on foot or by bicycle in a very comfortable and ideal way for the whole family.

According to your preferences, you can start the route from any of the suggested towns. Take your time to go through the vineyars and make the most of your visit to get to know the typical products grown and produced in the area.
In season you can visit the arts and traditions of the vineyards, and be part of them: Participating in the grape harvest and discovering the manual processes of harvesting and selecting grapes can be a very authentic experience that allows you to learn first-hand about an art of ancestral tradition. The process of scalding the grapes in the traditional way and preparing them for late consumption is also a very good way of appreciating how, in the past, dried grapes were exported all over the world and were a great source of wealth for the region.
La Marina Alta as a whole is an area with an excellent high-quality gastronomy which combines the influences of all the provided products. Both in the interior and near the coast the gastronomy is adapted to the environment and locally grown products are the protagonists of the most traditional recipes. Along the whole region we can find places to eat the authentic dishes providing the local taste and diversity characterizing La Marina Alta. Historically the growth of moscatell grape resulted in a lifestyle and provided great richness with its transformation in raisin and its export. Today the production is focused on the elaboration of appreciated sweet and dry wines.
