You can do the route by bicycle or on foot, as the paths are narrow and it is difficult to travel by car; it is recommended to do it more slowly. If you decide to do it on foot, it is advisable to have two vehicles, one of them to leave in Beniarbeig and the other to reach Tormos.
A linear route with little gradient, following the course of the Girona River and making slight detours to enter the towns and villages and discover their heritage, stroll through their streets and savour the local gastronomy.
Thanks to the short distance between towns, you can stop from time to time and admire the landscape of the Sierra de Segària and the Sierra of Migdia, as well as the agricultural distribution along the path.
The gastronomy of the towns through which this route passes is linked to the products grown in these towns, which are fully agricultural in character. Vegetables and seasonal fruit give rise to traditional dishes such as "cocas", rice dishes and desserts that delight the most demanding palates.
In both cases the traditional savory and sweet elaborations are guaranteed and the visitor will be able to delight with an endless number of dishes to become familiar with the culinary culture of La Marina Alta.
