Beniarbeig is a rich and prosperous agricultural village especially dedicated to the production of citrus fruits, although it also has an industrial estate.

Its privileged geographical position and the wealth of its economy place it as the most important town in the area.

The village revolves around the Girona river that runs through it, just before it flows into the coast of Dénia and Els Poblets. The other geographical feature characterising Benidoleig are the Segaria mountains located in the northern part of its municipal district, where some archeological remains still prevail and you can enjoy magnificent views over Dénia and the sea. The architectural ensemble formed by the Parish Church, the School and the old Town Hall are well-worth a visit.
