Senija is a small village and municipal term that has been able to carefully keep their traditions. A place where calm prevails and people are especially welcoming. It is a town traditionally linked to the nearby city of Benissa, which is just 3 km crossing the A-7 motorway. Senija is situated at the foot of the mountain and seems to be an extension of it. From here you can see the wonderful and fertile Pop Valley, which is also part of Senija. Since ancient times, the village has been involved in the production of sultanas, a product that has provided great wealth to this locality. Nowadays its inhabitants are still mostly dedicated to agriculture, especially citrus fruits, olives, carob and almond trees. In these places you can buy magnificent products such as dried and fresh tomatoes, lemons, oils, wines and sultanas. You cannot leave Senija without tasting its typical dishes.
