Sagra is one of the villages of the Rectoria right next to the Caval or the Migdia mountain ranges opposite to the Girona river. It has an extension of 5,62 km2 and is located 103 meters above sea level.
In 1609 the Moors revolted against the Royal Order that expelled them from their lands, being the Sierra del Cavall and especially the villages of Orba and Sagra one of the last bastions of their resistance.
Sagra preserves the Muslim urban typology with twisted and narrow streets surrounded by an evergreen and orange countryside that smells of orange blossom.
